FR-300 Calcium-Zinc Stabilizer for Soft Opaque PVC Film and Leather

WANSYN FR-300 is a powder calcium-zinc stabilizer for soft opaque or white PVC film, artificial leather and selected printed, calendered, blown-film or extrusion applications. It is intended to balance heat stability, initial color, odor, lubrication, surface cleanliness and printing performance. WANSYN's modern stabilizer base has annual capacity of 50,000 metric tons.

FR-300 calcium-zinc stabilizer in soft opaque PVC film and artificial leather

Target Benefits and Applications

  • Initial and long-term heat-stability support
  • High-whiteness target for white or lightly pigmented film
  • Low-odor processing direction where formulation permits
  • Controlled lubrication and exudation to reduce oil spots
  • Clean surface target for calendering, extrusion and selected blown film
  • Print-receptive surface when treatment, ink and curing are compatible

Typical uses include soft opaque or white film and sheet, PVC artificial leather, advertising or decorative film and selected blown-film applications. Transparent, medical, food-contact or toy applications require separate grade and document review.

Key Soft-PVC Variables

Variable Effect Information required
PVC resin Fusion and thermal demand Type, K-value and grade
Plasticizer Flexibility, volatility, odor and compatibility Chemistry, total phr and target hardness
Filler/pigment Color, opacity, torque and surface Types, loading and treatment
Lubrication Release, exudation, fusion and deposits Chemistry and dosage
Printing Wetting, adhesion and cure Treatment, ink, primer and curing method

What to Measure During an FR-300 Trial

  • Initial whiteness, dynamic heat stability and color change
  • Fusion, torque, roll release, output and operating window
  • Plate-out, deposits, oil spots, bloom and exudation after ageing
  • Odor after processing and conditioning using an agreed method
  • Dyne level, wetting, ink adhesion, rub resistance and ageing
  • Flexibility, tensile, tear and application-specific properties

Condition samples before judging exudation, odor and print adhesion; freshly produced results can change during storage.

Dosage and Alternative-System Evaluation

FR-300 has no universal dosage. WANSYN can recommend a starting trial after reviewing the formulation. Final dosage and lubrication must be confirmed on the intended line. It may be evaluated against organotin powder, pellet or selected liquid systems, but it is not a universal one-for-one replacement. Compare heat stability, color, odor, exudation, deposits, printing and finished-product performance.

Product and Document Review

Form White powder
Moisture ≤1.0 as currently listed; confirm test method on TDS or COA
Packing 25 kg/bag, subject to quotation
Storage reference 12 months under stated conditions
Documents TDS, SDS and available grade-specific reports on request

FR-300 is positioned as a lead-free Ca-Zn grade. RoHS, REACH, heavy-metal, toy, food-contact or other statements must be checked for the selected grade, formulation and market.

Frequently Asked Questions

Is FR-300 only for white film?

It is positioned for opaque or white film, but selected pigmented systems can be evaluated after formulation review.

Can it eliminate odor?

No unconditional odor claim is appropriate. Resin, plasticizer, additives and heat history all contribute.

Can it prevent oil spots?

It is designed to support controlled lubrication, but compatibility, conditioning and ageing must be validated.

Is it suitable for printing?

It can be evaluated with the actual surface treatment, ink, curing and customer adhesion method.

Can it replace organotin directly?

Not automatically; dosage, lubrication, odor, color and processing may change.
